GE was one of the foundational client relationships that helped launch Del Co Design Lab and became an important example of our energy marketing design experience. The opportunity grew from a trusted creative connection first built through FICO, where we had worked closely with marketing and creative leaders who later brought that confidence in our partnership to GE. That trust led to a steady stream of design work supporting GE’s Digital Solutions for Power & Utilities marketing campaigns.
Following GE’s corporate spin-off, these operations and assets were later consolidated into GE Vernova, an independent global energy company launched in 2024. While the brand has continued to evolve, this body of work remains an important example of the strengths that define our studio today: simplifying complex B2B subject matter, creating cohesive design systems across multiple formats, and helping enterprise teams communicate technical ideas with clarity and impact.

Featured Project: Digital for Power & Utility Bottom Line Success E-book
We created this 10-page e-book for GE Power Digital Solutions translated complex operational challenges into a clear visual story about optimization, profitability, and bottom-line performance. The design used GE’s clean blue brand palette, full-bleed energy and city imagery, icon systems, process diagrams, and structured use-case pages to make technical content easier to navigate.
energy Marketing design for poWer & utilities
Del Co Design Lab supported GE with a range of digital transformation, power, and utility marketing assets, including e-books, white papers, executive briefs, infographics, and event graphics. The work focused on making complex energy technology topics easier to understand — from business optimization and asset performance management to coal plant efficiency, grid transformation, and the future of the electricity value network.
the process
Across the body of work, our energy marketing design approach combined strong technical content hierarchy, GE’s clean blue visual system, full-bleed energy imagery, iconography, process diagrams, data visualization, and structured use-case layouts. The strongest samples show how complex operational and industry challenges were translated into clear, executive-ready content for sales, thought leadership, and event marketing.
Electricity Value Network Brochure
The Electricity Value Network brochure was developed to help GE communicate the transformation of the power and utilities industry through a more visual, future-focused lens. The piece combined custom illustration, technical diagrams, industry statistics, and digital overlays to show how generation, transmission, distribution, renewables, smart grids, storage, and connected customers were reshaping the electricity ecosystem. The design required translating a complex network of technologies and business trends into a clear visual story that executives could quickly understand and connect to GE’s digital solutions.
A key part of the development process was creating and refining visual assets that could support GE’s energy transformation message. This included building diagrams, integrating data-driven callouts, and manipulating imagery in Photoshop to create more purposeful scenes. For one custom visual, we added people into an architectural environment before AI-assisted image editing tools were available, helping the image feel more active, human, and aligned with the story of digital transformation across the electricity value network.
Digital Power Plant / Pull-Up Banners
The Digital Power Plant pull-up banners extended GE’s digital power story into a clean, high-impact event format. Designed for quick visibility in a conference or sales environment, the banners used bold GE branding, deep blue energy imagery, concise messaging, and strong hierarchy to communicate key solution areas. The design balanced technical credibility with simplicity, helping viewers quickly understand customer impact, performance benefits, and the broader value of GE’s Digital Power Plant platform.
Energy Value Network Infographic
The Energy Value Network infographic translated GE’s broad digital transformation story into a single, highly organized visual map of the power and utilities ecosystem. The design brought together complex solution areas — including buildings and cities, wind, nuclear, grid, fossil gas, and coal — with key customer results, business value, and societal benefits. The infographic helped connect GE’s digital solutions to measurable outcomes such as lower maintenance costs, reduced downtime, improved reliability, emissions reduction, and new value creation across the electricity value network.
Digital Power Plant for Steam Infographic
The Digital Power Plant for Steam infographic condensed a highly technical coal-power transformation story into a clear, executive-friendly visual. The design explained how GE’s Digital Power Plant software suite, powered by Predix, could help coal-fired plants operate with better efficiency, fewer emissions, and less downtime. By combining bold statistics, structured content blocks, iconography, and simplified messaging, the infographic connected complex topics into one cohesive story about the future of cleaner, more efficient steam power.
Digital Campaign Graphics
The GE digital campaign graphics extended the power and utility messaging into a flexible set of web and social ad formats. Each banner adapted the same core cybersecurity message across multiple energy sectors — gas, nuclear, steam, transmission and distribution, and wind — while maintaining consistent GE branding, clear call-to-action styling, and strong visual hierarchy. The designs combined energy photography, digital overlays, bold typography, and responsive layout variations to create a cohesive campaign system across horizontal, vertical, and display ad formats.
